David Warmflash, MD, is an astrobiologist, scientist-physician, writer, and editor. He serves as lead investigator for Phobos-LIFE. A collaboration between the Planetary Society and the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), LIFE is a biology experiment to be carried within Russia's Phobos-Grunt probe, launching in 2011.
